Clive Owen And Mia Wasikowska Are Offered Roles In Spike Lee's OLDBOY!

After Colin Firth has chosen to pass on the villainous role in Spike Lee's remake of Park Chan-Wook's revenge thriller OLDBOY, the offer is now made to Clive Owen. Owen, is of course, used to collaborate together with Lee in the heist thriller INSIDE MAN (2006). Owen is certainly a good choice to play the villain part since he has that grit and menacing charm in his look.

On the other side, up-and-coming actress Mia Wasikowska who made headline in last year's ALICE IN WONDERLAND (2010), is being offered the female lead. The role was previously given to THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO star Rooney Mara, who has declined the offer earlier.
