Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s forthcoming new movie in the direction of AR Murugadoss has been titled as Thuppaki. Director AR Murugadoss has informed the title of the film to the press.Vijay-AR Murugadoss's Thuppaki film will begin its shooting from 23rd November and the movie is being made with a budget of 65 crores.Kajal Agarwal is roped in as Vijaya's love interest in the film while Harris Jayaraj is rendering tunes and Santhosh Sivan is handling the camera.
AR Murugadoss is in plans to shoot Vijay's Thuppaki movie in the suburbs of Mumbai, Thiruchendur and Chennai. Few sources of kollywood reveals that Vijay plays a Mumbai Dada role which will be similar to Kamal’s role in the super hit Nayagan.Vijay’s father S.A.Chandrasekaran is producing Thupakki movie.
