Salman Khan is back after wrapping up a rather long and gruelling schedule of Ek Tha Tiger in Dublin and Istanbul. The superstar was spotted all energetic and lively at a recent do, but what was missing from his face was a smile.
Having been the dynamo of one of the biggest blockbusters in Bollywood history (read Bodyguard) is all the more reason for the handsome Khan to smile. But Salman was spotted wearing a frown on his face.
The superstar was dressed in a collared Being Human tee and jeans at the DY Patil’s Annual Achiever’s Award in Mumbai.
But the reason for the missing smile on Salman’s face could have little to do with his mood than with the nerve disorder Trigeminal Neuralgia for which he underwent a non-invasive surgery in the US more than two months back.
Salman has said that due to the disorder -- which is characterised by intense pain in the face -- he finds it hard to even smile.
In an interview he had also hinted that despite the surgery, the disorder isn’t fully cured and he might undergo another operation.
We just hope Salman is in fine fettle soon for we can’t wait to see his charming smile again! Inshallah!
