Summary

Ek Deewana Tha (Hindi: एक दीवाना था, ɛ́k deewana tha ?) is the title of an upcoming Bollywood romantic drama film, written and directed by Gautham Menon, featuring Prateik Babbar and Amy Jackson, in her Bollywood debut, in the lead roles. It is the remake of Gautham Menon's own Tamil, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, with a different cast and climax, featuring soundtrack and film score composed by A. R. Rahman, while the cinematography and editing are handled by M. S. Prabhu and Anthony Gonsalves, respectively. Renganaath Ravee is the sound designer of the film. The film, produced by IN Entertainment, which is an entity of the Hinduja Group and Gautham Menon's Photon Kathaas, is currently in its production stage and is expected to release in January of 2012. The film is currently in post-production and is set to be release in January, 2012.
