Elijah Wood Is A MANIAC!

I remember I used to watch that William Lustig's MANIAC (1980). It was one of the heavily-debated cult classic movies ever made during that era, and personally I still found it too repulsive for my liking. Now remake specialist Alexandre Aja (THE HILL HAVE EYES, MIRRORS, PIRANHA) is remaking the cult classic and he's already found his leading man! The actor is none others than Elijah Wood.

You might be thinking: Elijah Wood plays a maniac serial killer? In case you forget, I personally thinks he's an inspired choice. After all, he plays this kind of role so well in SIN CITY (2005). Anyway, here's the trailer from the original MANIAC right below.
