Chiyaan Vikram as Kunjali Marakkar ?

Here is the buzz in kollywood tinsel town is that Chiyaan Vikram has signed up a new movie in the direction of National Award winning Malayalam director Salim Ahamed.The news is that Chiyaan is expected to don the legendary role of Kunjali Marakkar.Kunjali Marakkar is awarded name given to a Muslim naval chief Samoothiri Raja, a Hindu king of Kozhikode.

Salim Ahamed is renowed with his Malayalam film Adaminte Makan Abu which ha bagged many national awards and the movie is also selected as India’s official entry for the Oscars for Best foreign film category.

Close Sources reveals that Director Salim Ahamed has narrated the story line to Vikram recently and evinced his interest in taking a period historic movie.If Vikram give his nod an Hollywood Studio might produce the movie.
